An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and motivated Assistant Property Manager
Job Purpose:
To provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the Property Management and Lettings Departments of an independent estate agents in Hackney.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage electronic data and e-mails and ensure all clients files are updated
• Deal with property owners/tenants queries verbally and in written form
• Arrange tenancy extension agreements
• Arrange gas and electrical safety checks
• Liaise end of tenancy deposit release with landlord and tenant
• Deal with any other property issues that may arise within the team
• Property inspections
• Basic accounts data entry
• General office administration
The above is a summary of routine duties and is not meant to be comprehensive. Additional ad-hoc duties will arise which will be considered to form a reasonable part of the role. The administrator needs to remain responsive to the requirements of the business.
Key Skills:
• An ability to calmly apply initiative and common sense in prioritising and managing a busy workload
• A desire to provide a good level of client service
• Good computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
• Strong organisation and administrative skills
• Good communication and 'people' skills
• Working knowledge of Vebra Premise (desirable)
• A driving license
